DDK are a manufacturer of a wide range of connectors, for example; Serial ATA, SAS, Infiniband, Secure Digital, Compact Flash, PCMCIA, Memory stick and other types of memory card, Circular connectors, Centronics connectors, USB & HSB, SCA2, SCSI & Coaxial and are supported in Europe by their regional sales office of Fujikura Europe Ltd.
DDK Connectors was established in 1963 and became a fully owned subsidiary of the Fujikura Corporation in 1999 - FUJIKURA DDK.
With manufacturing facilities in Japan, Thailand and China covering a land area of 221,000 square Metres and 55,000 square metres of floor space, Fujikura DDK currently employs over 2000 employees and achieved sales of US$157 Million in 2000.
Being part of the Fujikura group of companies, Fujikura DDK has the ability to work closely with Fujikura giving us the benefit of being able to supply cable, cable assemblies and fibre optic components to accompany our wide range of connectors.
DDK Europe was established in 1989 and changed its name to Fujikura DDK Electronics Europe Ltd. in 1999.
In 2003 it was merged with Fujikura Europe ltd (FEL) as the DDK Connector Division.
This recent company merger gives us more scope to offer our customers & Distributors Fujikura products alongside the DDK connectors and also gives us better facilities to help improve our overall service.
The DDK Connector Division operates from the Fujikura Europe ltd head office in Chessington, near London, where it supports and services its customers and Distribution network across Europe, and also works in partnership with the other Fujikura offices around the world.
