Since the earliest developments in mobile phone technology, Fujikura DDK has been involved in designing and manufacturing connectors for this fast moving, ever changing application. From relatively bulky combination signal/power/coaxial I/O and battery connectors, using through hole and surface mount termination techniques, DDK has used its experience to develop fine pitch connectors which are designed to fit into the restricted space envelopes required by modern GSM handsets (often using sophisticated moulding designs and solderless pressure contacts).
