Fujikura Launches its Next Generation of Precision Fibre Cleavers

Compact body and lighter weight – the new CT30 series

Fujikura Europe announces the launch of its new high precision fibre cleaver – the CT30 series. This series is smaller and lighter than its highly acclaimed predecessor, the CT20 – boasting half the size! More compact, lightweight and easier to handle - the CT30 is less user dependant with its preloaded spring action providing a more consistent and reliable repeatability results. This essential tool for fibre fusion splicing has been designed for up to 12-fibre ribbon cleaving. With its improved cleave angles – 16 rotating positions and three heights, ranging from 6 to 16mm cleaving, it is simple to use and easy to handle.

The CT30 has the same blade life as the CT20 series – 48,000 cleaves (the blade is common to both). Equipped with a fibre scrap collector as standard, this two-action cleaver has a mechanically controlled blade and anvil speed.
