The SH-7 tube heater is a portable unit that can hang on the panels of Fujikura fusion splicers.
Designed to work with Fujikura splice protector sleeves, it features an automatic heating sequence. After splicing, the splice protector sleeve is placed over the bare fibre and then inserted in the SH-7 tube heater for finishing.
The process takes less than 90 seconds from start to finish.
