Fujikura announced in June 2010 at the Smart Grid Exhibition held at Tokyo Japan. that it had successfully developed a connector with a cable that links to an electric vehicle and a DC quick charger. This connector comes as a single unit with a cable that conveys power and signals from charger to vehicle in a short period of time. This connector is compliant with the CHAdeMO Association's* standards
