We manufacture a wide range of electronical connectors, using our own technology, from material processing to the finished product. All our DDK connectors a made via the same process of stamping, moulding, plating, and final assembly.

We offer numerous connector variations including multi-pin connectors, industrial duty connectors, coaxial connectors, and optical fibre connectors. Fujikura industrial connectors are used in factories and production facilities throughout the world in equipment which is crucial to the control of complex manufacturing processes.

Features

Coaxial

Our wide range of RF/microwave coaxial connector products are used in a broad range of applications. DDK’s PSH and PSH2 series of miniature, low profile microcoaxial RF connectors are ideal for hand-held devices that require antennas for wireless applications where space is limiting factor. These series are rated to 6GHz with mated height options of 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm. DDK will supply the cable attached to the plug at a specific length, or as part of a pigtail to maximize the efficiency of your manufacturing processes. We also offer an insertion and removal tool to minimize the damage in non-automated processes.

Our portfolio of RF/Microwave connectors include options for the highest performance and most demanding needs within the automotive, military, instrumentation, and medical markets. Our products typically have impedance ranges of 50Ohm and 75Ohm with frequencies most often in the range of 1GHz, 3GHz and 6GHz, but with connectors performing up to 18GHz and 28GHz. Applicable products conform to the industry specs as appropriate including IEC 61169-4, MIL-PRF-39012, JIS-C-5411 and DSP-C-6202.

Board to board

DDK utilizes highly automated manufacturing processes for maximum quality and performance in our ultra-low profile FB Series board-to-FPC stacking connectors. These products offer market leading retention force, while providing both high density 0.35mm pitch data lines at 0.2A and two 4.0 Amp power connections for space-constrained portable electronic products where both power and data lines are required. Stacking heights of 0.70mm and 1mm are available. Currently available in pin counts from six pins to 70 pins, plus the two power pins.

Our engineering team continually strives to develop products that help our electronic design and manufacturing customers make their products smaller, lighter, more durable and reliable while still maximizing cost effectiveness. Some areas where our efforts can benefit your designs include:

  • Back lock:100% of our FFC/FPC ZIF connectors utilize our back lock cam mechanism which reduces damage to the FPC while increasing the connection reliability
  • Cable lock:Our newer FFC/FPC ZIF connectors have a locking mechanism to lock the FPC cable for maximum retention and alignment within the FPC Connector
  • Ultra-low profile: We understand the challenges of today’s electronic market space constraints. We are leading the way with the thinnest LIF/ZIF connectors on the market with thicknesses ranging from as small as 0.5mm height with most of our FPC LIF connectors less than 1mm in height.
  • Fine pitch:Reduced board space equates to value to designers. DDK has created LIF connectors for FPC circuits with alternatives including 0.2mm pitch, 0.25mm pitch, 0.3mm pitch, 0.4mm pitch and 0.5mm pitch.
  • Thin FPC:DDK is following the trends of the industry by developing products compatible to FPC thickness of 0.12mm to 0.3mm, which allow for mating without the need for the extra cost of interface stiffeners
  • Upper and lower contacts:We offer a variety of connectors to match your specific design needs. We were the first to offer connected upper and lower contacts to allow for FPC design flexibility where a single ZIF connector can be utilized for either upper or lower contact requirements.
  • Double-sided FPC:DDK has developed a low profile, back-lock ZIF connector to support fine 0.2mm pitch double sided FPC connectors for high density circuits.
