One of the leaders in the field in High Temperature Superconductivity (HTS), Fujikura has achieved numerous technical milestones and records with our 2nd generation Yttrium-Based Copper Oxide (YBCO) High Temperature Superconducting tapes (2G HTS) manufactured using our advanced fabrication techniques which we have progressively developed over the past 20 years. FEL is proud to introduce our 2G HTS tapes to the European region which can provide an unprecedented improvement in the efficiency of various applications such as High Voltage Power Transmission Cables, Fault Current-Limiters, High-Field Superconducting Magnets, Wind Turbines and Heavy Industrial electro-mechanical devices.
To meet the rapidly increasing demand for environmentally-friendly Electric Cars, Fujikura Europe Limited is also excited to introduce its newest Electric Vehicle DC Charging Connector which is compliant with the CHAdeMO Association's standards. The charging connector is compatible with a wide range of Electric Vehicles already on the roads such as the Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi i-MiE.
