FUJIKURA IS PLEASED to be presenting its latest fusion splicers alongside its cutting edge SpiderWeb ribbon fibre technology at Data Centre World 2022, which takes place at London's ExCel Centre from 2nd - 3rd March.

Visitors to the Fujikura stand (D626) can expect to see the world's best fusion splicers on display and being demonstrated throughout the exhibition. The 90R, a mass fusion splicer capable of splicing up to 16-fibre ribbon cable simultaneously, is Fujikura's optimum splicer for data centre communications because of the efficiency and precision it delivers provides network engineers. The 90R will be on show alongside the ultra-precise 90S+ single fibre core alignment splicer, launched in 2021 to deliver easy fibre handling, a reduction in working time, and reduced splice loss thanks to real time fusion control analysis. The new 41S+, Fujikura's most powerful and compact splicer to date, will also be on show.

Because Fujikura's connectivity solutions don't end with fusion splicers, it will be showcasing a range of cables, all using proprietary SpiderWeb Ribbon (SWR) fibre ribbon technology. SWR provides the technology for a completely new generation of innovative cable designs which, because of their high fibre density, offer a significant reduction of overall cable diameter and weight when compared to traditional ribbon-based cable or loose tube fibre optic cable.

A selection of AFL's exceptional test and inspection equipment will also be on display and available for demonstration throughout the two-day exhibition. AFL test and inspection equipment perfectly compliments Fujikura splicers and cable because they empower engineers to install, test and troubleshoot fibre optic networks with speed, ease, and accurate results every time.
