Meet the Engineers
Supervisor Service Engineer
Mark joined Fujikura Europe as a Service Engineer in 1996. He had previously worked in Education and the Automotive industry after leaving further education. During his time at Fujikura he has gained further qualifications in fibre optics and test & calibration.
Technical Support Engineer
Nick previously had over 30 year’s experience in electronics before joining Fujikura Europe in 2007 as a Technical Support Engineer for Fusion Splicing Products. He has since obtained further City & Guilds qualifications in Fibre Optics and is trained in test and calibration, adding to his City and Guilds qualifications in both electronics and digital logic techniques. Nick also helps to train and support the European Distributors.
Simon joined Fujikura Europe in 2011 after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a first class honours degree in Computer Science. Simons duties include repair & maintenance of splicer equipment and helps to train and support the European Distributors.
Bill joined Fujikura Europe in 2000 and his duties include repair & maintenance of splicer equipment, hire equipment preparation & more recently Noyes calibration & repair. Bill has been at the forefront of technical developments within the industry since the early 1970’s where he began his career as an apprentice with Post Office Telecommunications.
Julius came from a multi-discipline engineering background. He joined Fujikura Europe in 2016 as a Service Engineer after finishing his HND Electrical & Electronics Engineering along with his apprenticeship. His duties include repair & maintenance of splicer equipment.
Laurence joined Fujikura in 2016 after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. His duties include repair and maintenance of splicer equipment.
