Our commitment to you doesn’t end once you buy your equipment because we offer our customers complete peace of mind, with robust service packages and a range of aftersales technical support to keep you up and running, all year round.

 
Send your equipment in for servicing or repair and you'll discover that our commitment to you doesn’t end once you receive your equipment, because we have a range of servicing and repair packages available to meet your needs. Our tailored service contracts and complete service packages ensure equipment is always in optimal working condition, reducing the risk of downtime, increasing the lifespan of your hardware and minimising the need for re-work. Splicing and test and inspection equipment has a number of critical applications that demand top performance. Fujikura has over 50 years of optical fibre experience, which has been passed down to the team of engineers in our service lab at our European HQ in Chessington, UK. We provide annual services and calibration of all of our equipment to identify any problems before they arise. If they do, our technical support team is always on hand to solve them.

 


 

SERVICING AND CALIBRATION

Using alignment tools that are specifically tailored to our equipment, our team of factory-trained engineers are experts at servicing and repairing all Fujikura devices.
 
Our warehouse is fully stocked with all maintenance parts. With regular servicing, your equipment can always operate at peak performance, without lengthy waiting times for specialist parts. We are also pleased to offer a hire machine to cover the duration of the repair, which is capped at a single low price.

Every annual service from Fujikura includes:
 
  • Optimisation of splicer performance
  • Comprehensive list of tests and adjustments
  • Estimate vs Actual splice loss correlation checks
  • Electrode replacement*, calibration and stabilisation
  • Calibration of all motors
  • Firmware upgrades
  • Electrical safety checks
  • Comprehensive service report provided by engineer
  • Certificate of Conformity
  • Cleaning of equipment and carry case

 


 

SERVICE AGREEMENT

A single annual payment helps with budgeting and  ensures there are never any unexpected charges for specialist replacement parts. With a Fujikura service agreement, you'll benefit from:
