Overview

The CT-101/CT-102 is designed for cleaving silica fibre with 80µm to 250µm cladding diameter and is also capable of precision angled fibre cleaves. The CT-101 accommodates Fujikura FH-100 fibre holders while the CT-102 has been designed to accommodate FH-70 fibre holders.

Because the CT-101/CT-102 is equipped with a motorised diamond blade that makes contact with the fibre after tension has been applied, it provides high-strength cleaving capability along with the consistent cleaving quality you expect from a Fujikura product.

The range of adjustability provided by the CT-101/CT-102 means that the cleave length can be modified from 3mm to 40mm and the cleave angle is also adjustable from 0 to 15 degrees.

Power is supplied via AC or battery power.

Adjustable cleaving length

The base position of the fibre holder adjustable in accordance with your required cleave length.

Adjustable cleaving tension

You can change the CT-101/CT-102 tension for differing cladding diameters and fibre constructions.

Angled cleaving

Angled cleaving from 0° - 15°is possible for fibres with a cladding diameter of up to 250μm.

Digital counter

The cleaving count is displayed on the digital counter, making it easy to track when the blade needs replacing – typically at 20,000 cleaves.

Dual power sources

The CT-101/CT-102 can be powered by either four AA batteries, or with the ADC-16 AC adaptor.
