The CT-52 provides unprecedented durability and simplistic maintenance unseen with any other cleaver. The CT-52’s blade life is easily managed and maximized via Bluetooth connection with a convenient smartphone app. Because the CT-52 incorporates motorised push-button blade rotation and a convenient thumbwheel for blade height adjustment, routine cleaver adjustments are easy and convenient.

The 16-position blade delivers 60,000 cleaves, which means extended intervals between blade replacement. Although the CT-52 is designed for use with either Fujikura FH-100 or FH-70 series fibre holders, it can also be used with the optional adapter plate to eliminate the need for fibre holders, if desired. When utilized with the optional spacers for the cleaver and RS series thermal stripper, the CT-52 makes are six different cleave lengths possible. The CT52 also allows for a reduced cleave length of 8mm on 900μm jacketed fibres and as short as 3mm on 250μm and 400μm coated fibres.

Splice+ is a smartphone application that works in cooperation with Fujikura's splicers, cleavers and ribbon fibre strippers which have Bluetooth capability.
