Overview

Fujikura fibre lasers are reliably designed and manufactured with quality control that’s backed by our proven unique optical technologies as an optical fibre manufacturer.

Fujikura multi-mode continuous wave fibre lasers range are characterised by high efficiency and include proprietary solutions that eliminate Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS) to ensure optimal performance even with 90° processing angle on highly reflective materials such as copper, silver, and polished stainless steel.

The flexibility of this fibre laser source allows its use in numerous applications including:

  • Cutting metal at high speed or high thickness - the characteristics of the laser beam and the quality of the optical fibre used allows high performance even with 50μm delivery fibre
  • Keyhole laser welding – laboratory tests have shown greater flexibility in the choice of parameters for welding processing at 90° on highly reflective copper
  • Surface hardening treatments
  • Laser metal deposition (cladding)
