Overview

The HTS-12 is a single fibre thermal stripper designed for high strength splicing applications, which protects the stripped fibre’s glass surface from physical contact when removing the coating. To achieve this, the HTS-12 has a precise linear slide base for its stripping action, a centraliser, and semi-circular blade profiles so the fibre is not scuffed by the blade or any other materials during the stripping process. To aid its operation, the HTS-12 is equipped with a heater to soften the fibre coating.

The HTS-12 accepts the FH-40 and FH-100 series fibre holder system.
