Overview

ADSS® (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is ideal for installation in distribution as well as transmission environments, even when live-line installations are required. As its name indicates, there is no support or messenger wire required, so installation is achieved in a single pass, making ADSS an economical and simple means of achieving a fibre optic network.

  • Suitable for use on distribution and high voltage transmission lines
  • Track-resistant outer jacket available for installations on high voltage lines where space potentials reach up to 25kV
  • Gel-filled buffer tubes are S-Z stranded for easy mid-span access
  • Cable is water-blocked using dry core technology, therefore no messy flooding compounds
  • Custom designs available for larger span lengths or other fibre counts
