Calibration

READY FOR THE NEXT TEST

Be prepared for whatever the next job brings by keeping your equipment calibrated at all times.

Precision electronics such as AFL’s test and inspection equipment can be liable to drift over time, which is why we recommend they’re checked and adjusted on a regular basis – usually annually. Our European Service Centre is equipped with the state-of-the-art test equipment, held to major industry recognised standards and when you send your equipment for calibration, you can be assured that our factory trained engineers will thoroughly examine and adjust the tools that you rely on for a job well-done. You can also be confident in our unrivalled turnaround time of no more than five working days (please note that if we need to send a product overseas for repair, it could be up to 4 weeks).

We will check and adjust the following to ensure your test and inspection equipment is operating within specification:
  • Power output levels of laser modules
  • An OTDR trace/test on a simulated network to ensure length recorded is accurate
  • Power output of VFL module if applicable
  • Optical Power Meter is checked and adjusted accordingly to ensure accuracy (including linearity test on 1310 wavelength)
  • Check and adjustment of Optical Light Source if applicable

Once test and calibration are complete, we will provide you with a certificate, signed and dated by the test engineer, showing before and after results.

To have your equipment serviced by our team of factory-trained engineers, please send it to:
Service Department, Fujikura Europe, C51 Barwell Business Park, Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey, KT9 2NY.

Please include all of your contact details and any specific requests with the equipment.

You can also email service@fujikura.co.uk or call +44 (0)208 240 2020 for more information or to discuss your specific requirements.
